It seems like a cool place but not really for my son. Strangers can just walk in off the streets if they want. Not my cup of tea. Seems like that is a quick way to get some bad company.
This place is one of my favorite places on earth. I'm able to be my full self here without being judged.

I am the Director at Art Outside the Lines. In response the the review provided by Evette R, we are a community art studio. Just like any other business, we are open to the public. Just like any community space, we ensure that we have high supervision in our studio and keep people who may be unsafe or disruptive out of the studio. There are people with disabilities who work here, and we pride ourselves in providing an age appropriate, safe job experience for our Artist Managers (artists with disabilities). We have a shop and a gallery. Just like any other shop or art gallery, we are open to the public. As a business, we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if we feel they should not be here. It is possible that the person who wrote this review thought we were an art studio only for people with disabilities. We are an art studio open to the public, the artists with disabilities here work here. There is no other place like this, as adults with disabilities are not typically given the chance to be in a helping or managerial role in a business. There are thorough background checks that we run on anyone who spends a significant amount of time at the studio, I assure you this is a safe space and invite anyone who would like to visit :)
Art Outside The Lines is my favorite place to be, full of the most incredible and creative individuals I have ever met. This place has completely changed my life. Everyone is so kind and accepting. AOTL is the place to be if you want to make some art, meet some amazing people, and do nothing but smile!
