I had the French Dip sandwich - the filling was delicious, but my problem was with the bread. The bread was very soft and soggy, like it had been microwaved. French bread is supposed to have a crunchy, crusty exterior. I wouldn't have expected the bread to be microwaved, but that's definitely what it tasted like. Otherwise, the restaurant is very nice inside, and the waiter was friendly.
Bon Vie for brunch/lunch...was an awesome choice. Sat for a bit before getting a server.
Played a little game with our server, Chris. Ask for two different dishes and had him decide. Eggs Benedict was amazing. Had brie fondue to start and it was delicious as well. Husband had fish and frites. They were a little overcooked, but flavor was good. Would have given a 5 star, but I'm slightly turned off by servers being made to serve inside and outside diners at the same time. Chris did a great job but having to cover two areas runs the risk something will be overlooked. Overall, a great choice.
Would've rated 4.5/5 if possible. Their filet is incredible. Good desserts and service is good as well.
I went to the bar, the bar tender was so busy he couldn't focus on the customer. I would have stayed but if you have to constantly try to get someone attention to buy some more drinks its not fun. The bar bite were very good.
Eaten here on several occasions and the food varies from great to phenomenal. The stand out is their service, great staff and management. Always know my food will be fast and my waiter friendly. Couldn't ask for a better sit down lunch/dinner spot.
