CampusParc is the worst, but students and employees are forced to deal with them. Their policies and practices are clearly not customer focused.
I want to give -5 start. I got a ticket because I parked my own car in front of my own apartment. They only sell annual permits, no refund for me to park in front of my on campus housing. I got a new car and wanted to sell the other one and they gave me a ticket of the new one. The point is the I have no problem registering 2 cars under my current permit and there is absolutely no any warnings pop up telling me that, even though you can register 2 cars, you can not PARK them at the same time here. EXCUSE ME??? You can register but can not PARK??? Ridiculous!!! And I swear to GOD that I read something like if space allowed, you can park 2 here when I register the second car. Since people are moving out from my court, there is only 7 cars, including my 2 cars, parking here in an 30 something parking lot. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!! ABSOLUTELY MAKES NO SENSE. They even denied my appeal. RIDICULOUS is the only word I can find from my limited word bank to describe my feeling toward this company.
How can a private firm have complete monopoly over the parking spaces inside a public university?! There give zero f#%@ ! about their customers even after paying a premium for parking. If this company is still in charge of the parking spaces even after an average rating of 1 star, it says a lot about the efficiency and ethics of the Ohio State University.
This company if you can call it that should be ashamed of themselves. Gave me a ticket for not parking head-in at a garage. I'm not from OSU, I paid over $30 already just to park there and there were no signs or visible markings indicating this rule. Not to mention the company's own website displays a picture of the exact garage with a truck parked exactly how I was. I hold Ohio State University accountable for subing out to this trash company and the joke employees who wrote this ticket basically trying to steal money from me. OSU should be a symbol of progress and sensibility that makes Ohioans proud, not the accomplice to some predatory parking group looking to steal money from good people.
I was forced into a $500/yr pass (which is apparently pretty cheap for staff parking) and they erroneously set up two different accounts for me. I was then ticketed for not having a pass (even though it's pulled directly from my paycheck) and I had to call multiple times and email managers to get the issue resolved. Even then, I was told the citations had been removed. Checked back later and one STILL hadn't been removed and I would not have been able to appeal if I had not caught it in time. The citation was removed after I contacted them (again), but it's a mess. It's extremely overpriced. And customer service wasn't great at all. I'm extremely disappointed in the university for signing a contract with them (50 years??!?!) and I hate thinking about the talent we will be losing over the inconvenience and extreme price of parking.
