I am so impressed at the quality of care I received and will continue to receive at Active Edge. They take great care to inform you on how the body works so that you know what they are stretching, realigning or massaging. They teach you how to strengthen or stretch certain muscles depending on your needs as well as how to alliviate pain and work on certain muscles on your own. The staff I have encountered are very helpful and informative as well. Even my experience with others in the waiting area has been lovely.
I have been working with Jazmine for several weeks and she has been beyond awesome. Being pregnant with twins, Dr. Jazmine is very informative on ways to stretch, great breathing techniques and natural vitamins for me and the babies. My husband works with Dr. Eric for lower back pain and walks away like a new man. I talk about their great services to my mother and my friends. Active Edge Chiropractic is the place to go for any aches and pains.

Dr. Hensel always does a great job of working out my aches and pains. I've been to several chiropractors over the years, and he is the best. And, I love that this is an integrated practice. All of the therapists are fantastic.
When comparing chiropractors I have had, this man is outstanding. The first day I arrived, I filled out a medical sheet of all my medical diseases or diagnoses (similar to what you do at any doctor). I felt very safe with him handling me compared to the bad chiropractor I had (Dr. Richard Ulm in Dublin, OH who never had me fill out a form asking if I had cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, etc). Pre-existing diseases do matter anytime a person is treated. My own massage therapist requires paperwork on medical diagnoses! He is that thorough and does everything to avoid malpractice.
Now this doctor calls me to tell me that the chiropractor I am now seeing is committing a crime just because I wasn't charged an exam fee. I will pay this doctor his money, but he needs to be more professional and not insult other chiropractors.
I just received a bill from 16 months ago...I am very pleased to adjust my initial review as after expressing my displeasure of this billing issue I considered unethical, they were kind of enough to accept responsibility for the one time issue and resolve the account as closed with a zero balance.
They are very friendly and have clean facilities that is why I gave them two stars. However, they told me my exam and tens unit treatment wasn't covered by my insurance. Now this seemed very strange to me so I looked into it and chiropractic exams are in fact covered. To test this knowledge I started going to a different chiropractor and guess what? My exam and treatment are in fact covered. All I had at the new chiropractor was a 49 dollar deductible and they didn't try to sell me on over 8,000 dollars worth of classes and they did xrays to see what was causing my pain before doing anything else. Now I know what is causing my pain and it is being treated else where.
They offer a variety of services and are interested in educating you about your body and how to care for it, not simply treating symptoms in the moment. I highly recommend Dr. Hensel!
