Been shopping at the Kroger for a decade. I can't recall ever being begged for money. I've been to some of the restaurants (Subway, Taco Bell, and Chinese place). Kroger does a brisk business at beginning of every month because it's convenient to an impoverished part of Columbus. Bars have all vacated Southwest Square, so that has cut down on drug deals and fights. Many other nearby Kroger stores are fresher with wider selection, but that's a reflexion of where they're located. Anyway, you know a shopping center has jumped the shark when a storage place is a major tenet.

The stores here are great, but the parking lot really needs to be redesigned. Also big pot holes in some of the locations parking lots and drive throughs combined with little to no lighting makes this dangerous at night. And while it isn't this places fault, there are definitely several types of consumers and drivers here to avoid.
Love the Kroger store here, and the Family Dollar store. There's also several fast food restaurants located here.
