Decent place for a younger more Urban crowd. I am not a millennial so I am a little older and hence didn't really feel comfortable here. Decent service and food/drink but just not for me. I was born before Reagan was in office if that helps.... 1975.... So I am a little to old for this place and would not go back. But if taking a date hear and not being able to talk because of the awful loud music is your thing then go for it.
Great multi level atmosphere. Sent on a Saturday night. Seemed the staff was personable and friendly. Food was good for the price. Great DJ's!
I came here for my birthday and really enjoyed myself. I got a VIP table as well. The Bottle Girls were very nice. All of the staff was nice and helpful. The music was better than what I expected. They played old school music that us 80's babies could appreciate. I don't do the club scene but while being at Avalon I felt like everyone was on the same page with no drama. Not one fight broke out and I loved that I could enjoy my entire night.
This place has a pretty decent feel for when you're in the mood to grab a drink or two with friends and then get your dance on. It's kind of a cross between a small sports bar and a night club. The DJ is playing music the whole while and at around Midnight, they open up the section in the back of the establishment, which leads to the dance floor and another bar. It was a pretty cool idea and had I not been as tired as I was when I went, I would have enjoyed it even more. Nice spot!
Was there for a Tuesday night post-election party so might not have been a fair sampling. Just seemed a little quiet but the space could be a great weekend party/dance place. DJ was playing killer tunes.
