Hot and savoury. This place although far away from downtown is a must visit - fully packed on a Monday evening by families, couples, and college students! You can tell it’s the hot spot.
The best and most authentic Mexican food I have had anywhere in the country. I travel a lot for work and one of my favorite foods is Mexican, specifically taco's and this place is hands down bar none the best I've ever eaten, there is a reason they have been rated best taco's in Columbus for something like 10+ years now. This is the spot, trust me, you have to check this place out if you are in town.
Best Al Pastor in town. This place offers great authentic tacos and Mexican food at low prices. They are typically very very busy. Especially at lunch. They also offer a variety of Mexican imported soda and horchada and a delicious hibiscus drink. They recently knocked down a wall and expanded their restaurant and seating. It feels much less crowded and it's a little easier to get a seat, but be ready to wait in line and have someone grab a table while you wait. It's well worth it.
Absolutely the best authentic Mexican food that I have had in decades! We were visiting from Toronto and we could only dream of having a place like this up North. The Tacos Al Pastor were delicious and the slice of pineapple on top made it perfect! The chicken flautas were also very good but we could not finished the entire plate as we were stuffed with the tacos order! The hot sauce is not for the meek. Al pastor is just out of this world. They recently expanded the dining area so there is actual room to sit down. The decor is fantastic. Crowd is local. There is always a line but it is ALWAYS worth waiting, even if it's out the door. Seriously go get some. Stop waiting. Go.
This place is correct when they state that they have the best Al pastor in Columbus. They recently expanded so there is now much more dine-in room. Their food is amazing and service is always good.
