It's a gorgeous hotel, but some things just don't work as well as you'd hope for something so grandiose. A/C absolutely couldn't get the room below 68, which is really, really annoying. The phone didn't work, had to call the front desk from my cell phone. Staff were fine, but not nearly as friendly as you'd hope. Oh well...
Ryan at the bar was Fantastic! Apparently hes a food and beverage supervisor and not the actual bartender. On a personal note I feel that a supervisor should not have to cover for their bartenders. I'm a bartender myself and I would never let any manager or supervisor behind my bar. They should take ownership. But Ryan was fantastic and allowed some restaurant people to be able to have a drink after work and he welcomed us with open arms. His drinks were on point And his conversations were great. So thank you Ryan for giving us a good Christmas Eve.
First I just want to mention my HUGE disappointment in the Jacuzzi being broken during our stay. It was one of the huge reasons we booked this hotel. After long days of hiking and sight seeing in the 9 degree weather I was really looking forward to the hot Jacuzzi for the aches, when we got in it was cold. Other than this disappointment everything else here was amazing. Perfect location and excellent clean room. Staff were excellent and the breakfast was perfect.
Attended a wedding reception. Hotel staff was kind, and always available. Food was delicious. Coffee was not good but I don't have high expectations for hotels generally. Would love to visit again
Remodel is lovely but there is no sports bar anymore. We used to love going in there, socialize, shoot pool. The bar is in the middle of the hotel lobby, all white marble, bright lights. Feels more like a fancy hospital waiting room. Menu changed, also. No sliders, no fries?!? Very sad.
