This is a very peaceful park in a very nice neighborhood in Columbus, German Village. It is great for walking your dog or just chilling with friends for an afternoon picknick. There are some very old trees located in the park.
A great park. Beautiful, and lots of different low-key things going on. Lots of friendly people here. I lived down the street for a while and would walk here occasionally. Plenty of room for you or your dog to run around, a nice little pond with ducks... There are plays at the outdoor stage, a tennis court, basketball court, rec center... Once I showed up and there was an oldschool baseball game going on where they play the way they did in the 1800s. Cool place!
A lovely park! Great walking trail around the outer edge. Playground for kids, tennis and basketball courts not to mention the recreation center. Love walking my dog here!
Has a nice outer perimeter loop for running outside. A nice rec center with a friendly staff and very affordable fee. Playground, picnic tables, and lovely scenery. Shakespeare in the park during the summer time. Very close to a delicious deli (Brown bag deli), and a Jenis ice cream.
Schiller Park is a beautiful park. We attended Village Lights. I had never heard of it. It was amazing. There were white bags about 3 feet apart. Each held a votive candle. I heard there were at least a million. They were on all of the walkways in the park and also lined the neighborhoods in German Village. My Church, Cross City, was there handing out cookies and postcards about our services -- just to raise awareness. I saw things i.e. statues that I had no idea were there.
