Great service and prices have gotten much better since the last time I was in.
Super nice comic book store, everyone was super nice and helpful. They have a great selection of stuff and their is no pressure to buy anything. My only issue is they close to early, its hard to their by their early closing time if you have kids and activities.
The best organized and operated comic shop I have had the pleasure of shopping at. As a parent I noted and appreciated the kid appropriate materials up front and consolidated in one place. The shelves are large and easy to scan. The all-female staff was exeptional and refreshing to see. I have a younger daughter whose growing interest in comics has increasingly led to asking about writers, artists and characters. So it will be nice to show her a shop too.
Always friendly service, and a broad selection that caters to most interests. I've been a customer for ten years or so, and I love the Laughing Ogre, and its gregarious staff.
The first time I went in, I expected to be ignored or talked down to (my usual comic shop first experience) but the people at the counter came out to greet us, and were super kind and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back.
