Needed a weekend rental. Joe was professional and friendly and made process simple. Car was clean and staff at gate also friendly. Will go back.

Cheap rental car; what else is there to say? The pickup/return process was a bit confusing; checkout at the counter, go upstairs and just get into your car. Then pull up to the exit, and someone should come help you. Unfortunately, when we got upstairs, we didn't realize we were supposed to just go get the car, and there was no one there. We ended up waiting for about 5 minutes before we saw an attendant to figure out what to do. Besides that, no complaints overall.

Unable to pay toll charges when going through Mass Pike's cashless toll road, it resulted a $180 admin. fees charged by Thrifty for 12 tolls of only $20.20... ( capped at 6 maximum = $90.00 )
To avoid such Highway Rubbery, read the terms and conditions carefully about toll and ticket charges before signing and hitting the road. Also REGISTER the car with the EZ Pay authority for Pay per Plate, or to your own EZ Pass account so you will received the actual invoice or paid out of your own account.
Overall a good experience. Got a free upgrade from a small SUV to a minivan. Rental was gassed, ready & easily found. Employee helped with adding an extra driver, with a small fee. She applied my AAA discount. No issues with rental or return & no excessive sales pitch on insurance. Good value & experience. Only downside I can think of is that the 2017 Minivan already had around 100,000 miles, though I had no issues or breakdowns. Thrifty Columbus Airport location is a good option if renting a car in Columbus.
