Believe it or not the food is excellent!! Little pricey, but better than some expensive restaurants and better kids meals. And the atmosphere and the way they make the girls feel. Priceless.
I just had the delux birthday party at the American Girl store at Easton on Columbus on October 14, 2017 for my daughter. We had 12 guests which was the maximum capacity of the room. The party cost almost $600. It was nice overall. The room was very pretty with pink walls and spardly chandeliers. There just wasn't much to the party besides the meal. They did a craft which was decorating a doll skirt. That would have been a perfect craft if they had more to decorate the skirt with. All they did was give each girl a sheet of 6 tiny sticker to put on the skirt. It took 6 seconds to decorate. We asked for more stickers but they said no. There were no games. There was nothing else. They had goody bags at the end. The food was good. However, we had to have a gluten-free cake because my daughter has celiac disease and the cake was terrible. I make delicious gluten-free cakes so it can be done. They would not let me bring a cake. So, if they beef up the craft and give you more to decorate that skirt with AND provide some sort of fun party game AND find a better gluten-free baker, it would be worth the money.
