I don't know what all of these other bad reviews are about. My family and I have been seeing Dr. OLSON for about 10 years. He is amazing and his staff are fantastic. I have seen people come thru the door for an appointment and just be down right nasty to his staff. I have seen the staff smile and turn the other cheek. I have seen people throw things at the staff and cuss them out. I have seen the staff bend over backwards trying to help. There are just some people who are happy being miserable. You need to realize they are very busy at this office. There are people scheduled before and after you. I love this office and will never change doctors. He is funny and really cares about his patients. Maybe the next time you complainers go in there. Change your attitude and realize your not the only one there. People such as myself have seen how you behave and will not let you bash my doctors office.
I've been seeing Dr Olson since I was a child. 25 years, to be exact. He is a phenomenal doctor and has always taken me seriously. I went to the ER once with severe neck pain and they refused to do an MRI. I knew Dr Olson would order one without hesitation because he actually cares and listens to his patients. As it turned out, my discs were herniated to the point where one little fall could have paralyzed me from the neck down. He referred me to a surgeon immediately. He does crack jokes, so if you want an uptight doctor with no personality, he is not the one for you. I don't understand why so many people have complained about his staff. Personally, I've never had any issues. They've always been very kind and professional. I'm having major surgery coming up and broke down and cried while talking about it to the woman who was taking my vitals and she went out of her way to make me less nervous about the situation and assured me I was going to do great. She even hugged me and told me to keep them posted. As far as calling in medications and refills, they generally don't. Personally, I feel the reason for that is because Dr Olson prefers to monitor the patients he's treating rather than write a script and send them on their way. The wait time isn't bad and you will always be greeted with a smile as well as a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. 5 star rating without hestitation.
I have been going to dr. Wilson's office for 21 years I have found the following in the past eight to 10 years the staff has gone downhill dr. Olson has ordered referrals to Specialists that have never been filled I've never been notified prescriptions that are supposed to be called in to the pharmacy has never been called in I have found 90% of his staff very rude and incompetent Jamie is a receptionist at the front desk I will give her a 10 unfortunately she gets the blunt end of everything and she smiles and still is very helpful there's a Jamie that's a nurse or a medical assistant I'm not sure what she is she's a very rude individual there's also a nurse that's kind of gray-haired and that wears glasses are her hair is white I'm not sure that she thinks she's doing you a favor and is rude I have found a billing clerk you're trying to get things straightened out about billing she doesn't want to hear it this is what she does she says this is the way she does it and I guess it's gospel I have found that if you have a second Insurance it is not bills by her even though the office manager say well I went through it and I try to do this and everything goes to the billing clerk it's not the office manager that does the billing Clerk and if she bills that she bills that if she doesn't she doesn't I have 15 years of back statements from their office and it can show I've called as they say I've called their resources of my billing of my other insurance companies they say it's never been built so who do you believe the insurance companies the office manager Department as I said in the past 10 years their department has in fact his practice has gone downhill one of their Pas which was Eric was the best person for that office that anybody had ever seen and so is Sam are Charlie is wonderful but I'm sorry to see that dr. Olson's office has gone downhill I love him to death I really do after complaining about all this I've been informed that I've been exiled send their practice because of concerns were I'd had to pay out-of-pocket you know I called because prescriptions are not filled our consoles have not been followed through with some if I'm wrong to complain then I am but like I said I'm really sorry I've talked about finding a new doctor but because my loyalty to dr. Olson I've stuck with him but now I can honestly say I am happy to find a new doctor my daughter's been going with there since she was 7 years old she's 27 now I've called in to the office because they're not following you know putting her prescriptions in there not following through so I wish everybody the best of going there
Doctor Olson is a kind and caring man. Yes he jokes a lot. I personally like it, as he always makes me feel comfortable. Jamie at the front desk is amazing. She's just as caring and kind hearted as Olson. Doctor Eric is also awesome. I see everyone else's review about the staff being rude, but I personally haven't had any problems.
Dr. Olson is a good doctor, he takes your suggestions into consideration. Like if you've researched a type of medication & you think it might help, he'll talk to you about it and take it into consideration. Jamie & Charlie are the best nurses there, they have the best bedside manner. Dr. Olson also takes student doctors quite a bit so take that into consideration when thinking about going to him.
