Dr. Bees let and CNP Patrick Spence are two of the best physicians around. They really, truly care about their patients and spend just the right amount of time. I think it's beyond awesome that he is not only an HIV specialist, but an GP/PCP internest as well. He has a great bedside manor as does Patrick. I moved to Cincinnati but still make the drive to keep him as my physician. It's also a HUGE plus, to me, to know that he and Patrick are also part of the LGBT community, themselves.
I arrived at 4:45 pm and the doors were locked. The receptionist peeked around the wall, looked at me, then ducked back out of sight. She purposely ignored me so I called their number and was placed on hold for ~7 minutes.
My father was being life flighted to Pittsburgh PA and I didn't have time for this nonsense so I started knocking on the door until someone came to help me. I was finally let in at 4:55. I said I was told they were open until 5pm - to which she rudely replied "well they lied". I remained kind and courteous despite being treated so poorly by her. But I will be changing doctors as soon as possible. I have never been treated so poorly by the people I PAY to be there help me.
I have been a patient of this practice and of Dr. Beesley for over 15 years. Due to my ever changing health needs I have had a need to see specialists and that has been flawlessly coordinated by Dr. Beesley and his staff. Dr. Beesley is easy to talk to, personable and always exhibits a willingness to to take the extra time I may need when I am concerned about changes in diagnosis or medication. I would recommend Dr. Beesley and MCMG.
I received a call from the resident nurse that I could pickup my Perscription slip at the front desk. She said they were open til 5pm (so does their website).
