They were a young group of guys in there 20’s. That made me a little nervous. However, they were so personable and polite and got to work right away. They were eager to please, professional, and did a fantastic job. We had them fully pack and move us. My fragile items were extremely well wrapped and packed. All furniture was padded and shrink wrapped. They delivered on time without incident. I would highly recommend Moving Ahead.
Very careless with my furniture and new refrigerator. Chipped player piano, broke television, brole glass table and put dents (small) on front doirs of brand new fridge. When I requested compensation for damage, I was asked to sign agreement stating I would never pist negative reviews about company. This was a condition of reimbursement. I refused to sign due to principle. Have never been reimbursed. I strongly recommend NOT using this company for your needs.
We moved from our 4 bedroom house in OH to TN. Wasn’t sure what to expect as they are a local company and not one of the larger we’ll known moving companies. I received in home estimates from four different movers. Not only were they the best priced, but could also guarantee my delivery day and didn’t combine my items with anyone else.
Moving ahead was absolutely fantastic. Both Matt and Austin were wonderful! They helped to make our move into our apartment so easy!! They had to walk up 50 steps to the apartment and they did so quickly and made the day run smoothly. Movers were speedy, punctual, polite, and affordable. Packed and moved my 8 bedroom house, and my butter manufacturing business from Columbus,Ohio to Barstow, California. Nothing broken, nothing lost, not a scratch on anything. The move could have not gone more perfectly. We had a very confusing move, with a great deal of logistics involved.
