The best customer service I've ever had. I purchased a hitch and Chuck went out of his way explaining my options. He had it installed in less than an hour.
I've been renting from UHaul for years now. Before my move 2hrs from Columbus, I pretty much always rented exclusively from the Broad-Central location. The staff is kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I've pretty much rented trailers only and all I have to do is back up to it, hand them the lighting adaptor for my truck to a 4way flat connector, and they hitch the trailer and hook up the lights and all the safety chains for me. Then they assist in checking all lighting functions on the trailer- running, brakes, etc, then once verified all is operational, I'm good to go. I ALWAYS get the extra insurance. It doesn't cost that much more and it gives me peace of mind knowing that should anything happen to the trailer, up to and including complete theft, I am completely covered and will owe them absolutely nothing due to the insurance. It can also cover the things you're hauling in case of damage, etc, if need be. I went to drop off the trailer after I was done with it the next day after my move and all I had to do was show them my paperwork and they came out and unhitched it for me, handed me my lighting adaptor and off I went. Wasn't there but maybe 5min, total, from start to finish to get it turned in. Great place to rent from and I highly recommend it.
Started off rough at the location off 5th, but chuck at this location was awesome! Fixed the situation and was so nice and polite! Would definitely go back just because he treated me so well!
I have been using U-Haul since I moved out of my Daddy's home several years ago. And I have usually been treated fairly and nicely. I called ahead to reserve a truck. When I arrived, I was told there weren't any trucks available. I reminded the man that I had just called about 20 minutes ago. He said he didn't know who I talked to but there weren't any trucks available until the next day or so if the people didn't keep their reservations. I said all these trucks are reserved and I looked him square in the eyes. He said they were. He lied. His lot was completely full. BUT he'd rather lose money than to rent me a truck. The gentleman with me said let's go. I left, but praying "God please end this kind of ignorance and hatred. And Lord I forgive him his sin committed against me. In Jesus' Name. Amen." and I meant it. I rented a truck from another location across town.
Took care of me 15 min before closing time. Very grateful, a lot of stores woulda closed...
