No longer appropriate for children
Way way over priced! signed my son up for the hidden picture club for $10 he received 2 books. then 2 weeks later was charged $20 for another shipment. that is way over priced for what would be in each shipment. Getting 2 hidden picture magazines twice a month for 1 year will cost nearly $500!!!!! They have several clubs available so make sure you pay attention to how much and how often your charged after the very reasonable first shipment is! Also why do you make us call to cancel. your sure quick to let us change cards online and pay but not cancel any memberships. with all the apps for iPad or other tablets who needs to pay a fortune to this company!
Highlights for Children is terribly overpriced with sneaky sales tactics to entrap consumers into paying for more than anticipated. Expensive monthly subscriptions for unwanted items are commonly imposed on unsuspecting consumers when bundled with "free" items. The company message to children is to "do the right thing" which makes them hypocrites of the highest degree. Sadly, it's not the company it was even just 20 years ago.
