Pathetic customer service, awful staff, cannot deliver what they promise, over priced for the service that they provide.
Very disappointed
Recently outfitted my living room with a chaise lounge, two swivel reclining armchairs, area rug plus accessories. Worked with Aaron Tuxbury who was very attentive as he was patient with my wife and I as we were a bit indecisive on the final color for our new living room suite. If you're in the market for any home decor, it's worth giving Crate and Barrel a shot. Be prepared to pay a premium; you may get a better value going elsewhere if style, comfort and quality aren't a top priority. If you go in to this location and want to be treated like first class, look for Aaron - he'll be wearing a name tag.
i paid for a (regular size) sofa on 8/20/2017 (its more than 2000$ for one small sofa so i thought i should pick color and fabric of my choice). sales woman told me it will take 8-12 weeks to deliver sofa as its 'custom made'. so i should get it by 11/14/2017 which is 3 months from the order date. they charged my credit card on 8/20 for full price. Now she calls me last week and says 'computer is saying that sofa will be ready in first week of December', so cannot do anything about it. i have thanksgiving planned with friends and family at my home so all that is spoiled and its 'possible' that it might be even more delayed.
Lovely big selection of stylish home goods. We've bought some wonderful cooking items here and a few really nice Christmas and Wedding gifts. Staff always very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is the delivery fee on furniture - $90 to deliver a few miles away in Westerville. Ridiculous. We almost walked out of the store without purchasing and no effort was made to negotiate a discount with us - that is a crazy percentage on the amount of the writing desk we wanted. In the end, we'll be picking it up ourselves.
I have only bought 1 item from them the whole time I've known they existed (2004 to current). I won't miss them knowing the real them.
they have charged my credit card, received money and don't care about fulfilling their commitment. I am not surprised that this store is losing customers.
i am not going back to Crate and barrel for furniture at least. i have ordered custom made dinning table and chairs from the pottery barn around the same time (9/1/2017) and have already received it. so there are better stores than crate and barrel.
Despicable company. the staff are uppity and rude. They think they are better than their customers and put down customers with disabilities. They call them drunk. I have personally heard the store manager call customers drunk just because they have what appears to be migraines.
