Great music venue, I love the feel. Though often times shows are sold out and because the building is long and narrow it's hard to get anywhere near the stage. This usually means a terribly sweaty night no matter the outdoor temp. This doesn't stop me from going to see bands here, but I would prefer if less tickets were sold so that the people who buy them can actually see the performers they paid to watch.
The bartender didn't seem to want to be there. The bar itself seems to just want to be accepted as cool, because there's a theme.
Local yet exotic place for local bands and good spirits.

This place is notoriously and habitually understaffed. I've been going for years (like, maybe 3x a year for the last 4 years) and it's always the same: Only 1 bartender who is slow and has to deal with too many people. Dirty restrooms. And always straight up out of booze. This time, there was literally NO Rum. None. At all. At least they cleaned up the broken glass on the huge smoking patio. And despite having only street parking, it's usually fine on a week night after 9pm.
