I have always worn gold but decided it was time for a change. I decided I wanted to change my setting to platinum. I went to CDI based on a friends recommendation. We worked with Matt for the most part and another gentleman (I can't remember his name). They both patiently let me try on what I thought I wanted - a round halo with my round diamond. However, I didn't feel it made my stone "pop" enough so they recommended a square halo with my round diamond. Matt worked with us further and listened to my concerns and made suggestions and then helped me to pick out my band. We never felt obligated to purchase what we had picked out, in fact we went to another store to compare both prices and style. We both loved the ring we had picked out at CDI so we went back and purchased the ring. I didn't get to see my stone set in the setting so I was nervous about that and about changing to platinum. Matt assured me if I didn't like the ring when it came back, I could return it and they would make it right. Well I loved the ring!! I have received several "Wows" and people telling me it is extremely beautiful - which it is. Matt even turned my old engagement ring into beautiful earrings - at no extra charge. My husband and I were both very impressed with the wonderful, genuine, customer service from everyone in the store. Thank you!

Went to CDI for an engagement ring based off of a recommendation from my fiancés coworker. They were extremely helpful and worked with me on price, I was new to buying jewelry on this scale and very intimidated. Matt and Ellen worked with me to find the perfect setting and perfect diamond within my price range. I tried major jewelry retailers just to compare and the customer service and quality I received from CDI was exponentially better. My fiancé LOVES the ring and I got way more bang for my buck than I would have anywhere else. Highly recommend CDI to anyone shopping for any type of jewelry.
I went to several jewelers in Columbus and none of them held a candle to CDI when it came to customer service. My questions were answered honestly and understandably. There was no upselling or trying to dissuade me from the engagement ring I had my heart set on. I had searched the inventories of 13 stores before finding a perfect, unique design at CDI. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to talk to me about shared pastimes. I really felt like they cared about me as a person. Their knowledge of the field was apparent from the way they described the industry and how to measure the overall value of the diamond. I plan on doing more business with them in the future.
