I went to high school in Gahanna and i would soend hours here. Curled up in the corner with a book, and enjoy my days off. I dont know what i would do without libraries in the world, nothing can replace the feel or smell of a book in your hands. Thank you for being one of the best libraries around.
Great selection of books and friendly staff, but I'm going to review this library based on merit.
The noise...this shouldn’t be called a library. It’s literally a daycare. So loud, people talk on their phones even though you’re trying to study...anyway...if you’re trying to concentrate this is not the place for you.
The branch in Westerville is so much nicer and is very quiet, go there if you're trying to study. The extra 15 minute drive is worth it.

It's like a drop-off Somalian daycare with TONS of loud, unattended children playing games on the computers, running back and forth to each other's. Adults (that actually have something important to do!) have to wait and wait to get on a computer because of all of these dropped off kids playing games, and when we do get our chance, forget being able to concentrate at all. Adults are even allowed to be on their cell phones there too!! What happened to the library being a respected, scholarly and quiet place where one can focus enough to learn, READ and study! Sadly forget ALL about that here.
This is the LOUDEST library you could ever go to. Lots of children come from after school without parent supervision. The kids are loud and are usually never told to be quiet. This isn't a one time thing, I'm in college and come here sometimes cause it's the closest library. I can't focus on anything unless I'm listening to music with my earbuds in on a loud volume. If you're trying to accomplish anything get here early and leave before 3pm.
