I always have an issue with the hours but I cannot blame the staff.

The library hosts several community events (especially for kids), and the staff is always helpful and polite.

This is a medium sized library located in Lincoln Village in the Westland area of Columbus. It has a decent selection of books, CDs, and DVDs. It also carries current issues of several newspapers and magazines.

My kids and I go here every two weeks and we really like it.

In my opinion, the biggest strength of this library is its connection to the Columbus Metropolitan Library system, which is annually rated one of the best library systems in the country. If the library system has the book in its inventory, you have access to it and can have it delivered to the Westland library for pick up. Additionally, you can use the Columbus Metro library's app to look for books, reserve them, and have them delivered to Westland.

I love this place because the kids place is good because it has a lot of fun books to read last year one of the ladies gave me a free book

Staff is always friendly and nice.

Your typical local neighborhood library. I found the small kids section very nice. The humanities and non fiction section might be a little small but does have free internet for all you researchers out there. It is generally clean and the staff is friendly.

They have an amazing staff! I was there for the first time, and went to the front desk to apply for a library card. Application process was very smooth: fill out a form, show a photo ID, get card. Since the address on my ID wasn't current, they asked me for proof of current address (I pulled up a credit card statement on my smart phone and they were okay with that). After that, I got my physical library card on the spot, and was able to use it, although it was limited to 10 items for the first 30 days. Their library card also gives you access to the Grove City Public Library. As for the library itself, the main area is brightly lit and allows for natural lighting to fill most of the building. It is filled with a decent amount and variety of materials from magazines and books to CDs and DVDs. Their children/teen section is pretty large. The library card also give you access to certain online tools for electronic material. They have a computer room area and a few computers spread around the library, with printers available for use. Also, free Wi-Fi. Calendars and flyers in the library show that they put on a lot of events for kids, adults and families. Overall, it's a great library to have in the neighborhood! I plan on being back often!

Overall a great library system.
