Libraries are incredibly important resources, and Columbus invested wisely in this library right on campus. I'm a frequent visitor.

Honestly, the place is a fantastic resources for the local students and denizens of the short north. A library is already a wonderful resource to the community, but this library has been built with the young people in mind. There are meeting spaces suitable all the way from 2 people study sessions to larger groups. The book pit area is well lit with ample seating, and the cafe serves light food and drink that's accessible to eat in the library. The second floor has a computer section with many computers (including Macs!) to use, and lots of seating that faces high st for people watching.

I visited this library yesterday and probably the best library service I have ever experienced. One of the library employees greeted me as soon as I walked in and kindly explained that the Internet was down. He was very honest about the fact that he did not know when it would be back up which I totally respected. He gave me a little tour of the library and told me where the quiet spots were. I am currently prepping for the GRE and the quiet room was PERFECT ! Definitely found a new study spot! I am amazed by the level of service ! Oh and the architecture of this library is absolutely outstanding! Very clean and the lighting is great!

Yes, it is cavernous and you can hear people, but for that I generally consider the usage of headphones in that regard. If it gets too rowdy, the many librarians immediately go to try and help. There are resources for those who need help that are of course free, and there are workshops that give folks the chance to get tools to help themselves.

Love the new look! So much more accessible.

I'm disappointed with the new library. It's very loud and there is no privacy when browsing books. The book pit is overcrowded and there's no room to maneuver through the aisles. You can hear everything that is going on as voices echo against the bare walls and high ceiling. Very sad as I've waited for this for over a year. At least at main you don't feel like you're under surveillance while getting books.

This library was designed more for its architectural design and presence then as a good library. This library was built more for people who hang out on there computers all day than for people who read books.
