I have heard great things about this pizza and really, really wanted to try it out. We get there and are instantly seated, I'm super pumped to try this food! We sit for about 15 minutes or so until someone comes for our drink order, I'm a reasonable girl, servers are busy people, I'm still pretty excited for this pizza. We ordered food along with our drinks (one medium deep dish pizza, cheese bread, three sodas). Our drinks came, about 10 minutes later the bread came - it was pretty tasty! A drink refill came a while after that, I'm a little hangry by this point but I'm pushing through. An hour passes and still no pizza... my stomach is imploding. The server never came to say anything about the length of time it's been, fails to make eye contact, we still wait. I'm dying... people all around us are getting their food, people who arrived after us. I don't know what hurts more, my growling stomach or my feelings because I really wanted that cheesy goodness. Finally we just got up and headed to Wendy's for spicy chicken sandwiches - at least they never let a girl down...
The fourth order wasn't out of the oven until about 30-40 minutes after I was told it would be ready. The restaurant lobby was full of other customers also waiting for their take out orders - not the most pleasant atmosphere.
The inconsistency is really a shame as the pizza can be excellent here. This is a new location, so hopefully they figure out their quality control and order scheduling issues.
This pizza is amazing! The ingredients were fresh and so delicious. One small deep dish is more than my husband and I can eat together. It's so filling, a true deep dish. I've been looking forward to trying this place for a long time. I'm not disappointed. We ordered delivery and the service was excellent. By the way, the tiramisu is out of this world.
I get that the place is new, I get that the pizza is good, but when you're out of product it makes it hard to stay positive about the place. The counter staff needs to be more attentive of who is coming in the door and in what order (A few customers who came in after me were waited on first, and the nice and attentive customer who somehow knew the inventory better than the staff made sure I was waited on in the correct order).
The pizza is great but I came for a couple frozen pizzas for takeout since I'm around 2 hours away.
Great pizza when done correctly, but experiences have been very hit or miss.
They were out of every frozen pizza except spinach. The counter staff seemed confused why I didn't want the spinach pizza but if that's not what I wanted... it's not what I wanted. The nice customer next to me said they've been out of the frozen pies for days.
I've ordered individual pizzas for take out on 4 separate occasions:
The third pizza was again ready on time and fully cooked.
12/18 update:
The second, while ready on time, was undercooked (the dough was raw!), and had to be put back in the oven at home.
As you may have noticed, a company representative is replying to most negative or mixed reviews asking to follow-up by email. 11 days after emailing, I've yet to receive a response from the restaurant.
The first was ready on time and excellent.
Please ramp up the basics so can be a fan again and work on service recovery.
Have been here several times and it’s always a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful to first timers and the deep dish speaks for itself! The Italian beef is also a favorite. Awesome atmosphere and great for groups. Definitely recommend!
