This was my first time at Queen Bees and I'm glad I came. I am very particular about my hair, I know what I like. Dominique asked me a couple questions, she did her magic and I was totally satisfied. From the time I walked in the door I felt very welcome, not uncomfortable like like an outsider. I will be back and will refer anyone I know looking for a professional, talented stylist. Ms. Dominique is that deal.
I went back to qb because of how great my last experience was. I assumed that even with my previous stylist gone it would still be okay. It wasnt. Naba braded my hair. I showed her a picture of what i wanted done and told her that i didnt not want my edges braided because i dont have edges please dont try. She decided to pull the tiny pieces of hair in anyway. She for some reason did my braids twice as big as the picture and im fairly certain she has burned off some of my hair in the back and they braids just arent length wise correct. I have a bunch of short braids in the back and she didnt treat my natural hair with care at all. To top it all off my first visit here cost me 75 dollars. She charged me twice that much. I dont even know what to do at this point but cry.
Also, I heard one of the stylists talking to her client about proper care for relaxed hair and how trimming was necessary. The client was hesitant to trim dead ends and the stylist explained how it's a necessary part of the process and essentially what's the point of having long damaged hair (she said it with tact and very polite, I'm paraphrasing).

I Highly recommend Queen Bee's not only for their high level of skill and professionalism but heavily for their passion for healthy hair and proper maintenance.
Dani asked my routine and gave advice of how to improve it (great advice, but I will be leaving it to the professionals now that I've found her!)
Dominique is by far the best stylist in town. You tell her or show her what you want, and she will deliver. When she does my hair, I love it and others happen to compliment my hair as well. She is modern, professional and gives you a high quality look in an expeditious manner. She was featured in the Columbus dispatch several years ago, and that is how I found out about her initially. Danielle, (whose services I haven't used), is also very friendly and does great by natural hair upkeep. I hope Qbee stays around for a long time. Best hair weaver, stylist, colorist in town bar none.
