This was the simplest car buying experience I have ever been through. Friday night at 6:30PM I sent and email via the Dan Tobin Chevrolet website. Within an hour Jake Williams sent me an email to let me know he received my request for information and wanted to offer me other avenues to contact him. After we exchanged 3 or 4 emails with Jake getting my preferences and asking particular questions in order to find me as many discounts as possible, Jake let me know he would contact me in the morning with some numbers (this was about 12:30am when this email was sent). About 8:45 AM, Jake sent me an offer that I countered with, and the next email Jake was within a $1 of my low price option. My wife and I went into the dealership at 12:30 PM on Sunday. Jake pulled the truck around (all based on my preferences) and we went for a test drive. Within 30 minutes we had finished the test drive and had started the paperwork for the truck. Jake was friendly and very personable and made the experience great. For people like me that do not like to car shop of deal with the traditional car dealerships, this was a welcomed experience. I can't wait to refer Jake to friends, family and co-workers! Jake truly made this simple and was helping us not selling us. Thank you so much Jake and Dan Tobin!

A week later i took my car to Dan Tobin for a third time, my car stalled. Had it towed. I did not get an immediate answer for the fix and I was told "Come back a week later and see how it runs" and "it might be a battery". (Not reassuring)

Today not even a week getting my car back for the forth time. The engine light came on. I am going to send it to Dan Tobin again today. I'll see how Dan Tobin response for this inconvenience. I'll keep my review to update.

I never leave reviews. However I felt I needed to after this experience. I spoke with a sales person with GMC, they confirmed the vehicle I was wanting was still available as I was driving over 50 minutes with my newborn daughter. I arrived, test drove the vehicle, and sat to work out a deal and make the purchase. She knew I was very interested as we were emailing back and forth all day before our arrival. As we worked out a deal, I was ready to sign papers and the keys were taken out of our hands, due to another couple making the purchase on our very vehicle we just test drove. Terrible customer service. There were 3 customers in the building, to not know we had 2 of the 3 interested in the same vehicle is upsetting and terrible communication. Will never visit this dealership again and do not recommend them to anyone! I'll go spend $70,000 elsewhere.

PS: What I also did not like as well was the rental car availability once my car was in the shop so transportation became as issue.

Very friendly service dept. Seemed to bend over backwards to get the truck done and in a timely manor.

We went to test drive a Tahoe to make sure that's what I really wanted. No intention on buying! Our Salesman was awesome, friendly and didn't pressure us. We had a great conversation and he was able to meet the requirements we had. We also went on a weekend and happened to be there late so we figured our vehicle wouldn't be going home that night but they stayed over and cleaned it for us with no problems! Couldn't be happier with our care! Have every intention of going back in the future!

The second problem was a week later, the engine light went on and it was a Camshaft valve . ((again no big deal, as long as it is fixed))

Two weeks later my car stalled again. Had it towed. Took it to Dan Tobin for the forth time. It was reported as an Electrical Block Error. Took 3 days to get it fixed.

The first problem was late Sept and it was a fuel pump. Had it towed. Car was in the shop from Friday to the following Monday. (no big deal)

I usually do not write reviews but I felt I had to share my experience. I usually do not get upset with dealership but this instance I needed to share my frustration. In the past month I've been to Dan Tobin Chevy Services five times and usually once or twice I do not mind the service but five times is unnecessary.

Highly recommend...

I'm from NE Ohio and was in Columbus for a family emergency. My '17 Colorado was due for its first oil change, so I stopped by the dealership and they got me right in.
