I have found Sam Ash to be a great place for music equipment. The staff people are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable. I will be back. I recommend them to anyone looking to buy musical equipment.
I had no idea of this Sam Ash's existence but I wish I had known sooner. I was on my way to Guitar Center when I saw this Sam Ash in my rear view mirror and decided to go there instead. Great decision! Incredibly nice staff, huge selection of instruments, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely one of the best music stores I've been to. I would highly recommend this place for musicians of any genre or instrument.
The staff here are passionate about what they do. Nerds of the best variety. Of course, my experience is limited to the synth/keyboard employees. They're helpful and knowledgeable, and will dig up an answer if they don't have one.
After shopping at a few other places I was happy to find the Sam Ash store on Morse. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, tons of musical gear in stock. I ended up buying a keyboard and being confident of the choice. Stores like this deserve to be supported.
I was desperately looking for some type of keyboard/piano to buy but I didn't know what I exactly needed. I went to Sam Ash and they listened to me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The staff was patient, very helpful,and knowledgeable about the music instruments they sell. They are all so AWESOME!!!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!
Selection isn't quite as large as Guitar Center, but the staff more than makes the difference here. I'd rather work with the team here and maybe have to order something, than go to Guitar Center and feel like I'm a nuisance.
