Took my kitty here shortly after I adopted him. They were so kind and the vet visit went as well as one could. If I lived closer this would be "our" vet, but the vet we met with was wonderful enough to suggest someone near me.
We absolutely love Dr. Joey! I have a Pitbull with severe anxiety and she knew exactly how to work with him! We will definitely be back!
The staff is extremely kind and caring. They were able to get us in the same day on a Saturday due to my pet's illness and now 3 days later she is back to her normal self!
Unfortunately, I must update this review. Last week, while my dog was in need, I tried to refill his prescription for anxiety. The doctor's receptionist told the pharmacy not to refill his much needed medicine until he and I came in for his annual visit. After being a patient of the hospital for years, I called them and asked them to tell their supervisor I would never come back. While waiting hours for the medication for my dog who was going crazy due to the sudden noise of construction outside house, they wouldn't even give us two pills to calm him. The decision was not based medicine or care. It was based in another's need in getting more business.
This place is great. It's right in the heart of Clintonville, which is super convenient for us. They have appointments regurlarly available after 5pm for those of us who can't take off work. Our vet is also amazing. He explains everything, answers our questions patiently and understandably, and is always providing us with life hacks for taking care of our doggos without breaking the bank. We will never go back to Banfield again!!!!!
