There are only 2 nurses that are nice. It is run terrible! Doctors don't pull the right charts. They were going to give me lithium even though I am seriously allergic. Most of the staff are African American. They treat the African American patients really nice which his wrong. They bring in unapproved food and candy. They call any Anglo-Saxon with tattoos a racist. Also there are no groups to help work on your problems. All you do is sit around taking medication which they change daily. If you love the person do NOT take them here. There are doctors that intentionally wind you up just so they keep you till insurance runs out. EXCEPT FOR 2 NURSES the rest are there for the money! They do not look out for you. I was there twice and was mistreated both times. There is racism at the hospital but it is African-American on Anglo-Saxon. They act like they are doing you a favor. They take over the TV and watch what THEY want. Again this hospital can not be trusted. I went in to get help and came out worse. Most of the nurses use thier cell phone when they are NOT supposed to by hospital policy. I had a man checking my vitals while checking his voice mail! And I have seen them taking pictures to. The two indian doctors are inconsiderate and mess with your meds so you can't get better. You will not get better! I came out more depressed. As well as an elevated anxiety. On top of that I just called to get refills which they said they would give me and they said no! So I have no meds after today. None of my meds are are narcotic. They wanted me to admit myself! Money hungry! That is all they care about. Also the pictures on Web page are straight lies. There are only two wings that look that way. The majority of rooms are not in good shape and units smell like urine!

The facility where they actually keep you is outdated and disgusting. The staff are abusive and demeaning they do not have proper experience in the field. This place is not good for a crisis. I would rather die than ever set foot in this place.
My mom stayed here when she was acting strange due to her Alzheimer's. They seem to have treated her well and everyone we met was friendly. They were able to get her on medication to help her with her dementia. The new facility was clean when we visited her. When they were trying to get her titrated correctly, it did seem she was receiving too much but they were able to get the dosing correct for her. The communications could have been better with the staff and never spoke with the doctor but the social worker. Other than that, I have no other complaints.
